This is a re-issue of PKC-029 (1994). Hearing this recording again after an interval of nearly ten
years reminded me what a truly great New Orleans-style band this was and, despite some shortcomings in the
recording, (it was ten years ago after all!!) I am very pleased to have Pete Child's approval to re-issue
this album. The line-up is Nigel Hunt trumpet; Hugh Roberts clarinet, tenor sax; Pete Child trombone;
Geof Roberts piano; Bill Scott banjo; Roger White double bass; Roger Wells drums. Sadly the band folded
only a year or two after this recording, though several band members will be familiar to many of you.
