Catalogue Note:
As the title suggests this is the band’s second CD, recorded live in December 2004, just a year after their first CD. The line-up is unchanged from PKCD-243. The difference between the two recordings lies mainly in the fact that a busy year of playing together has created a terrific sense of unity within the band and great rapport in their playing. This really is a top class band in the style of The Alex Welsh Band of the 1950s to 1970s. Almost every single track played that night could have been released and Richard’s big problem was selecting the tracks for rejection! The tunes are:- There’ll Be Some Changes Made, It Had To Be You, Everybody Loves My Baby, When I Take My Sugar To Tea, Shiny Stockings, Lover Come Back To Me, Trust In Me, Muskrat Ramble, Marie, Way Down Yonder In New Orleans, That Old Feeling, Rose Room, I Can’t Believe That You’re In Love With Me, Doggin’ Around.
