“At The Village Inn” This is the second CD for P.E.K. By Blackburn’s popular traditional jazz band. It was recorded at the Village Inn, Great Harwood where the band has a fortnightly residency. The band, now in its 22nd year, has a successful policy of playing happy swinging dixieland and (occasional) mainstream jazz, with a repertoire spanning the first half of the 20th century. The band line-up is Ian Royle trumpet, David Ellison clarinet and alto sax, Eddie Taylor trombone, David Knight banjo and guitar, Frank Lowe double bass and Colin Mason drums.
