I think the title says it all! For this live evening of dixieland jazz Mike Lovell (trombone) brought together some top musicians - Keith Nichols piano, Norman Field clarinet & saxes, Nick Ward drums, Dave Savill cornet, Louis Lince banjo and Roy Cansdale bass. They played a selection of popular jazz standards - Way Down Yonder In New Orleans, Ain’t Misbehavin’, I’m Crazy ‘bout My Baby, St Louis Blues, I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter, Tishomingo Blues, Struttin’ With Some Barbecue, You Took Advantage Of Me, Honeysuckle Rose, Dinah, After You’ve Gone. There are of course several superb vocals by Keith Nichols plus four tunes by Keith, Norman and Nick (aka the Earthbound Spirits - see PKCD-237) - You’re Driving Me Crazy, Chicago Southside, Dixie Cinderella, Your Feet’s Too Big.
