For this CD, the first in her own name, Sheila Fawkes gathered together a small band of top class musicians to accompany her renditions of some of the marvellous and often neglected vintage songs from the 1920s - the golden age of song-writing. The band members are:- George Huxley clarinet, soprano & alto saxes; Terry McGrath trombone & alto sax; Jon Penn piano; Geoff Over banjo; Mark Johnson double bass & tuba.
