Here is the first CD by Paul Munnery's superb small band. Recorded live at the 2006 Bude Jazz Festival, the band line-up is John Shillito trumpet; Robert Fowler clarinet & ten sax; Paul Munnery trombone; Nick Gill piano; Rachel Hayward guitar; Tony Sharp bass; Dion Cochrane drums. They play the sort of jazz you might have heard 'after-hours' in a jazz club on 52nd Street, New York in the 1930s. The session was very well received by an enthusiastic audience which, and this is always a good sign, included several off-duty musicians.
