It's six years since this amazing band first appeared on CD (PKCD-226 "Top Of The League"). John Maddocks and George Huxley are undoubtedly two of our finest reed players and when they get together the sparks start to fly. Sadly they don't get together often enough! This marvellous CD is taken from an electrifying session at the 2008 Bude Jazz Festival where a large audience enjoyed an evening of truly inspired jazz. The line-up is John Maddocks and George Huxley reeds (clarinets, soprano sax, alto saxes, tenor sax), Jon Penn piano, Geoff Over banjo, Stuart Gledhill double bass, Barry Norman drums.
